For the inauguration of its new sorting center at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport, FedEx Express required photo and video content to showcase the new facilities to French and international media. The project included the production of corporate imagery, broadcast-ready footage for media outlets, and a virtual tour of the site.
The inauguration of FedEx Express’s new sorting center at Paris-Charles de Gaulle took place during the health crisis, limiting the ability to welcome journalists and media teams on site.
The challenge was therefore to produce comprehensive, high-quality content that would allow the media to cover the event remotely, while also providing FedEx with assets suitable for its corporate and digital communications.
The coverage was conceived to serve multiple purposes: corporate communication, press distribution, television coverage, and digital content.
Beyond traditional event coverage, the objective was to create visual material that could be used directly by editorial teams, while showcasing the scale, technology, and operational capabilities of the new facility.
Production of a series of corporate photographs showcasing the new facilities, equipment, workspaces, and infrastructure of the sorting center.
Filming of video sequences presenting the site, its operations, and its key facilities for use across FedEx Express’s digital communications.
Production and preparation of broadcast-ready footage for French and international television channels, providing them with material that could be integrated directly into their news reports.
Creation of a virtual tour of the new sorting center, enabling audiences to discover the facilities remotely at a time when physical access to the site was restricted.
Creation of a visual asset library to support communications around the inauguration and provide editorial teams with ready-to-use press imagery.
The content produced was made available to French and international media outlets to illustrate the inauguration of the new FedEx Express sorting center at Paris-Charles de Gaulle.
The production therefore had to meet two key requirements: accurately represent the site’s industrial environment while meeting the quality standards required for large-scale corporate and media distribution.
